RUSTY

Introducing our dear older boy Rusty. He’s a lovely frosty faced staffie and I must say he looks very distinguished too! He is chipped, but sadly he hasn’t been claimed yet. He has come in with bad ears and skin too, the poor old gent. He should be on a sofa enjoying his golden years, so really needs a nice one of his own. He’s a nice boy and hasn’t shown any aggression to the other dogs in the pound, but he can’t be properly dog tested in this pound.

Rusty is NOT his real name, just a kennel name.

RUSTY’S LEGAL 7 DAYS TIME UP 12/02 IF NOT CLAIMED.
Please note this is NOT a PTS date just when the legal time for a dog to serve its 7 day ends.

If you are a rescue and you are able to offer on our dear boy, should he not be claimed, then please contact a member of admin direct at Jacobs Pound Dogs UK.

PLEASE NOTE THAT SHOULD OUR LOVELY RUSTY NOT BE CLAIMED, THEN HE WILL NEED TO GO TO RESCUE WHERE HE WILL THEN BE ASSESSED ETC BEFORE HE CAN BE RE-HOMED.

Needs donations for *: neutering / vaccinations / microchipping / transport / emergency boarding if needed

*on average, it costs £150-£200 to pay the rescue costs (neutering, vaccination, chipping, worming, flea treatment) for every dog rescued from the pound, and more if they need to be transported and moved into EB before they find a rescue space. Please note that funds alone do not guarantee a dog’s safety, as there are many other factors to take into account such as availability of emergency boarding, rescue kennels, transport and rescue space. They do, however, provide a huge help to the dogs and their helpers in paying for their vital and expensive rescue costs.
