Status: NEEDS URGENT RESCUE SPACE AND FUNDS
Information from pound pullers:
KILO: this 3yr old Staffie boy is currently in the pound serving 7 days. Given up by the person who said she was going to care for him whilst his owner sorted out new accommodation after a relationship break down.
After some detective work, I have managed to speak to his owner who is desperate to keep him BUT has nowhere for him to go until he can take him on again. DO WE HAVE ANYONE WHO WOULD CONSIDER FOSTERING HIM? I would like to give his owner a month to get back on his feet or at least know if he is in a better place to care for him.
Kilo has not had a good life, been passed from pillar to post before he even landed with his current owner. Kilo has lived with young children and ignores other dogs. Walks better on a lead. KILO is up to date with his vaccinations but we would fund his neutering, food and any vet bills.
*on average, it costs £150-£200 to pay the rescue costs (neutering, vaccination, chipping, worming, flea treatment) for every dog rescued from the pound, and more if they need to be transported and moved into EB before they find a rescue space. Please note that funds alone do not guarantee a dog’s safety, as there are many other factors to take into account such as availability of emergency boarding, rescue kennels, transport and rescue space. They do, however, provide a huge help to the dogs and their helpers in paying for their vital and expensive rescue costs.

Donation Tally: 19th March 2019: Kilo has received the following donations to help with his vital rescue costs: £28(JR) / £20(JO) = £48. Thank you to his kind donors.
