HARVEY (Cruelty case)
Aw please meet our Harvey. Poor Harvey has come into the pound in a bad way, he has been at the vets a good few days before coming to the pound with being very underweight and very bad skin with swollen areas, which he has been treated for, While in the vets he put on 4 kilos so god knows what weight he was when he went in there
Harvey is a complete sweetheart, was a very good boy at the vets and everyone loved him, He is a male SBT x. He does not appear to be that old either He is friendly and loves a fuss, which sadly i do not think he has had a lot of in his past life.
He has not shown any reaction to other dogs either but he has not been fully dog tested.
Due to Harvey medical problems we are seeking an urgent Foster based rescue. Someone who can carry on with his treatment and bring his weight back up to where it should be.
This poor boy has been let down in a bad way, we need to step up now and offer this boy the chance he so deserves.
Harvey is not Chipped or wearing any ID
HARVEY LEGAL 7 DAYS TIMES UP ON 16/10
If you are a rescue and you are able to offer a space should not be claimed, Then please contact Shelle Allders or a member of admin at Jacobs pound dogs uk direct via pm as we may miss your tag.
PLEASE NOTE DOGS WHO ARE NOT CLAIMED ARE UNABLE TO BE RE HOMED DIRECT FROM THE POUND. THEY NEED TO BE PLACED IN RESCUE CARE, WHERE THEY WILL BE FULLY ASSESSED ETC, BEFORE PLACING UP FOR ADOPTION
Needs donations for *: neutering / vaccinations / microchipping / transport / emergency boarding if needed
*on average, it costs £150-£200 to pay the rescue costs (neutering, vaccination, chipping, worming, flea treatment) for every dog rescued from the pound, and more if they need to be transported and moved into EB before they find a rescue space. Please note that funds alone do not guarantee a dog’s safety, as there are many other factors to take into account such as availability of emergency boarding, rescue kennels, transport and rescue space. They do, however, provide a huge help to the dogs and their helpers in paying for their vital and expensive rescue costs.
