Status: NEEDS URGENT RESCUE SPACE AND FUNDS
Information from pound pullers: Ello ello ello… what have we got here… sadly a familiar face and one LAST TIME I WOULD OF LOST AS NOBODY WOULD TAKE HER!!!! So yet again SEEKING RESCUE SPACE ONLY!! Hopefully second time lucky Georgie. Georgie is a staff x female microchipped. Georgie was in pound a few months ago, she was put up for a rescue but nobody wanted to help her:-( the owner came forward after she was out of time and she went home. She is a bit of an ugly duckling but she is a sweet girl. She knows basic commands and and loves her treats. She doesn’t seem to take any notice of the other dogs at present, I think last time she was a bit reactive to females, I think she would just need an assessment out of pound to check. She does have a some scars on the side of her face which are fairly new. We do know when she went home last time she was living with kids. Very skinny when came in last time and has put weight on again this time. She has a hanging warty thing next to her vulva which wasn’t there last time.
*on average, it costs £150-£200 to pay the rescue costs (neutering, vaccination, chipping, worming, flea treatment) for every dog rescued from the pound, and more if they need to be transported and moved into EB before they find a rescue space. Please note that funds alone do not guarantee a dog’s safety, as there are many other factors to take into account such as availability of emergency boarding, rescue kennels, transport and rescue space. They do, however, provide a huge help to the dogs and their helpers in paying for their vital and expensive rescue costs.
