Information from pound pullers:

Fergie is a wonderful, brindle coloured, female, Boxer/Mastiff type cross breed. She has been super friendly whilst she has been in kennels. She is very strong on the lead and will need an equally strong handler who will be able to teach her how to walk properly on a lead. She has shown no aggression towards other dogs in kennels. She is large in size. She is 4 years old, born in January 2014 according to her microchip. Fergie knows some basic commands and tries to stay clean in her indoor kennel. Fergie was adopted but had to be returned after a short while, she will need someone who has the strength, time and patience to lead train her. She can become scared and cowers in some situations so will need a patient owner. The kennels have been told she stays clean in the house.

Needs donations for *: neutering / vaccinations / microchipping / transport / emergency boarding if needed

*on average, it costs £150-£200 to pay the rescue costs (neutering, vaccination, chipping, worming, flea treatment) for every dog rescued from the pound, and more if they need to be transported and moved into EB before they find a rescue space. Please note that funds alone do not guarantee a dog’s safety, as there are many other factors to take into account such as availability of emergency boarding, rescue kennels, transport and rescue space. They do, however, provide a huge help to the dogs and their helpers in paying for their vital and expensive rescue costs.
