Meet Amber
7+ years old
Dog friendly
Sweet girl who wants nothing more than to curl up on your lap and cuddle. Loves affection/attention.
Ignores dogs, even dogs that bark in her face or sniff her bottom.
Amber walks nicely on a lead, however doesnt like being tied up/held back and will try and have a nibble at the lead, but easy to distract off and carry on.
She needs to build up her back end, one leg when walking fast, she tends to not use the leg. We do have some hydro sessions available to her in Essex.
Amber has been cat and child tested today. She is brilliant with the kiddies, infact ran straight up to my 9 year old, sat right in his lap and wanted a cuddle and kiss. Took food nicely, no teefies. She doesn’t play with toys so couldn’t really get her involved. She certainly wont want to be away ftom any action thats going on. She wants to be attached to a lap or have a cuddle 24/7. She is such a cuddley girl.
Did really well with the cat too. With a cat that will stand its ground, id be happy to place her in a home that will do slow intro’s, use a safety gate etc for precaution to begin with

Needs donations for *: neutering / vaccinations / microchipping / transport / emergency boarding if needed

*on average, it costs £150-£200 to pay the rescue costs (neutering, vaccination, chipping, worming, flea treatment) for every dog rescued from the pound, and more if they need to be transported and moved into EB before they find a rescue space. Please note that funds alone do not guarantee a dog’s safety, as there are many other factors to take into account such as availability of emergency boarding, rescue kennels, transport and rescue space. They do, however, provide a huge help to the dogs and their helpers in paying for their vital and expensive rescue costs.
